NEWS📰

  1. 🪂 Privy Glitches as Monad Airdrop Goes Live

Privy briefly went down after heavy traffic from Monad’s MON airdrop claims, affecting lots of users before service was restored. The claim phase lets users reserve tokens ahead of the mainnet launch on Nov. 3, with MON futures already valuing the project near $7B FDV.

  2. 🇺🇸 New Bill Could Let Americans Add Crypto to 401(k)s

A new bill introduced by Rep. Troy Downing aims to turn Trump’s executive order into law, allowing alternative assets like crypto, real estate, and commodities in 401(k) retirement accounts. The move would give Americans more flexibility in retirement investing and could channel billions into digital assets.

  3. MegaETH Opens ICO Registration

MegaETH, an Ethereum L2, has opened registration for its upcoming MEGA ICO via Cobie’s Sonar platform. Participants must complete identity verification by October 27, 2025, with U.S. users needing accreditation. The sale will use USDT on Ethereum and likely follow an English auction format.

  4. 🪨 BlackRock Dominates Crypto ETF as Inflows Hit Record Highs

BlackRock pulled in a record $205B in ETF inflows last quarter, with $17B coming from its crypto funds alone, cementing its lead in institutional Bitcoin and Ethereum exposure. Its iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) nears $100B in assets, while the Ethereum Trust (ETHA) is one of the fastest to hit $10B. The surge highlights growing institutional demand for digital assets.

  5. 🏦 Ripple Buys GTreasury for $1B

Ripple has acquired GTreasury, a corporate treasury management firm, for $1B, its third major deal of 2025. The move strengthens Ripple’s infrastructure for managing digital assets like stablecoins and tokenized deposits, enabling

    instant cross-border settlements.

  6. 📈 Gold Hits $30T Market Cap

Gold soared to an all time high of $4,357 per ounce, pushing its market cap to a record $30 trillion (14.5x larger than Bitcoin’s). The 64% surge since January comes amid dollar weakness and global tensions, but analysts predict Bitcoin could be next as liquidity shifts toward risk assets.

The Real Reason Behind The Recent Crypto Crash

In this video, I break down the real reason behind the October 10th crypto crash (the biggest liquidation event in history). I cover the cause, the damage, and the game plan for what’s next in the bull market, plus what I’m buying right now on the dip.

The Q4 Crypto Narrative Just Flipped

In this video, I break down the major crypto narrative flip for Q4 2025. This is an exclusive Obsidian Council update I’m sharing publicly: we’ll cover why top macro analysts are now aligning with my late 2026 top thesis, and what it all means for the rest of Q4.

Narrative of the Week: Flash Crash Exposes Crypto’s Liquidity Gaps

Last Friday night’s black swan crash, sparked by news of a 100% China tariff wiped 15% off BTC in 20 minutes, liquidating over $19B across the market. Here’s what happened

Exchange Dislocation: Binance saw the biggest dislocation, with BTC and alts diverging sharply from other exchange venues amid a sudden liquidity vacuum.

Hyperliquid Resilience: Hyperliquid maintained 100% uptime, executing cross margin ADL flawlessly to keep the platform solvent while others lagged

Market Fallout: The event exposed just how thin crypto liquidity really is especially in smaller alts with many markets freezing or slipping into double digit gaps.

Friday’s flash crash was a brutal reminder that crypto’s market depth is still fragile. Until liquidity broadens beyond majors, extreme volatility like this will keep testing both traders and exchanges.
